We build high-performance handmade snare drums in aluminium, boron steel and carbon fiber: artisanal quality, engineering-driven design, human character.

The idea comes from over thirty years of automotive-grade precision manufacturing, paired with a genuine passion for drumming.

Advanced processes (laser welding, precision machining and geometric control) turn metals and composites into instruments that are consistent, stable and musical.

Laser Series

The Laser Series is AluVibe’s aluminium line built from Al-Mg-Si alloy with longitudinal laser welding, a process derived from high-performance automotive manufacturing. By minimizing heat input, the shell preserves its structural integrity and delivers uniform vibration around the full circumference. The result is a snare that is light yet extremely stable, with precise tuning, controlled sustain and high dynamic response. Not an aesthetic choice — an engineering decision focused on sound.

Steel Series

The Steel Series is built from aluminized boron steel, engineered to deliver structural rigidity and full vibration control. The sound is bold and focused, with a strong attack and projection designed for high-pressure live environments. All hardware is in-house designed die-cast aluminium, with hoops forged from boron steel at 960 °C. Steel Series is controlled power, unmistakably AluVibe.

Carbon Fiber Series

The Carbon Fiber Series is AluVibe’s most advanced R&D program: shells made from structural carbon fiber, designed with no compromises and driven solely by acoustic performance. Exceptional stiffness combined with low weight delivers instant attack, high definition and effective control of unwanted vibrations. Shells are produced using mandrel roll-wrapping with a 3 mm reference thickness and optimized layup for sonic behavior. Carbon Fiber Series is applied research in sound, constantly evolving.
